Wife wanted ice cream but also wanted to be "healthy" - and sure enough, we found ourselves at this spot. Johnny took our orders and walked us through the menu and even showed us photos so we could make an informed decision about what to get. They use a lot of organic ingredients for the ice cream, and we enjoyed. Johnny has excellent customer service and his recommendations were great. We got 3 ice cream sandwiches, ranked in our order of favorites - the cherry Rocky road, the chocolate with salted pretzel, and the mint chip

Tricycle Ice Cream in Providence might just be the place that proves ice cream isn't only for sunny days. Even with the arctic chill, I couldn't resist stopping by while I was in town--and it was worth it! I had the Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Nilla Wafers sandwiched between two Peanut Butter Cookies, dipped in Callebaut Chocolate, and topped with roasted peanuts. Probably the best ice cream sandwich I've ever had, and I don't say that lightly. These folks don't just make ice cream; they create art. Have you seen their IG page? And everything tastes just as good! From cones and tacos to creative ice cream sandwiches, everything feels like a special treat. They also have specials (though they'd sold out by the time I arrived--and I hear they're super fun and creative seasonal flavors). Next time, I've got my eye on the horchata sandwich. If you're in Providence, do yourself a favor and stop by Tricycle. Rain, shine, or snow, this place is 100% worth the trip. Ice cream cravings don't care about the weather, and neither do I!

We had the Oreo sandwich and fruity pebble sandwich, both were delicious! The employees were friendly and knowledgeable about the ice cream. The shop is filled with plants and there are a few tables that customers can sit at.

As soon as you walk in, the aroma of the waffles and cookies warms you up. We had the pleasure of trying the Thai tea and Ube with toasted coconut flakes ice cream sandwiches. The ice cream was wonderfully flavorful and not too sweet. The cookies were a bit harder than to my liking, but did allow the ice cream to shine through. Staff was friendly and informed us the sandwiches were frozen, so to wait a bit before enjoying. Would recommend you giving it a shot in case you're in for a sweet treat!

The ice cream sandwiches were great! They are $5 each and are individually wrapped in an artsy packaging. The red velvet with cheese cake filling was delicious. The Oreo Salted Caramel was just as good too. Couldn't decide! The ice pops are $4 and the mango one was good. The workers offer a tablet to see what the sandwiches look like if you want to see a display. I love the logo of the bear on a tricycle and the esthetic of the store. Two small table for groups of three to sit at. The inside is pretty small. Smells lovely in there and the art of the menu is beautiful. On a corner where there's plenty of street parking. Can't wait to try a new flavor when I come back!

Seriously love this place! Second time I've been and I can't wait to go back. I got the fruity pebbles taco and also got the compost cookie sandwich and both were wow so good! Prices are reasonable as well.

I am literally OBSESSED with this ice cream shop... and I have to admit, I'm not really an ice cream kind of girl but Tricycle is unique & special. The flavor combos are truly culinary creations. My go-to order is the passionfruit mimosa sorbet push pop. It is slightly sour but yet refreshing - ultimately crave-worthy & palate-cleansing. It was time to try an ice cream taco. Hubby selected the creamy peanut butter & chocolate chip ice cream in a chocolate waffle shell, dipped in Callebaut chocolate & topped with Oreo pieces. It is HUGE & decadent. We ended up cutting it in half to save some for tomorrow. So much chocolate. OMG! Last but not least, I wanted to try something else & the owner recommended the Thai tea ice cream + toasted coconut cookies sandwich. Much more subtle than the chocolate taco but the ice cream was really the star of this selection. In addition, another thing that Tricycle does well is the packaging. You are meant to purchase more than you can eat & take it will you for consumption later. If you are ever in the neighborhood (ahem Atwells), take out your phone & preorder Tricycle for your dessert pickup. Or go in & check out what's new. Every week, there are new concoctions. NOM NOM NOM #YUM

This place was made for me. I wanted to try so many things which was made obvious by the fact that I got enough for 5 people. My husband and I shared: - Fruity Pebble Taco - Passion Fruit Drumstick - Bananas Foster Blondie Sandwich Everything was fantastic. The passion fruit drumstick was my favorite followed by the bananas foster blondie sandwich. You really can't go wrong though. It seems like it's not really made to be eaten there because they warn you to wait a bit to let it soften before eating it.

Fast, casual, eccentric, ready-to-go sweet treats that you'll want to eat before your feet hit the street. My wife and I shared their Bananas Foster Ice Cream Sandwich, Fruity Pebble Taco, and Passion Fruit Drumstick which was waaaaay too much for two people. About twice as much as either of us wanted and expected. If we were staying nearby and had a freezer then it wouldn't have been a problem but we were stopping by on our way to our hotel in Newport. That being said, still happy we tried all three. They were all good and no one in particular stood out amongst the rest.
